and neuter your pets and encourage your friends and neighbors to.
Our main goal is to
end the killing of healthy, adoptable pets at Alaska’s animal controls. Spaying works! - Join. Become a member ($25/year). Send to STOP, c/o 3035 Madison Way, Anchorage, AK 99508.
- Volunteer.
Copy and place our spay-neuter applications and membership applications
everywhere. Check with businesses to see if they will put them on their counters. - Tell
your neighbors and friends about our program. Encourage them to
spay and neuter their pets,
which will save lives by preventing births. - Everytime
you are at a store, a bank, a doctor’s office, a church,
a school, or any other
business, ask if STOP can put our newsletters, brochures, a donation cannister, or
applications there. Let us know where you have obtained permission and from whom,
and we will bring our publications by, or copy our application and distribute it there yourself. - Send
a tax-deductible donation to STOP today! Consider a monthly donation
to help ensure
our services continue! - Donate in-kind hours or services.
- Donate office supplies and equipment, or send us a gift certificate to a printshop, office supply store, or general store to purchase what we need. We appreciate all your help, support, and encouragement!

Hear
our humble prayer, O God, for
our friends the animals, especially for
animals who are suffering; for any that are
hunted or lost or destroyed or frightened
or hungry; for all that must be put to death.
We entreat for them all Thy mercy and pity
and for those who deal with them we ask
a heart of compassion and gentle hands and
